4 Day Gorilla, Muhabura Trekking and Safari at Lake Mburo in Uganda.
28th sept, Day 1 Kigali City tour and Drive to Bwindi or Mgahinga National park
Our Driver will meet you at your at 8.00AM and Go for Sorth city tour of Kigali, during the Tour you will Visit see the Genocide Memorial at Gisozi, inema arts centre, caplaki craft village and Central town of Kigali, at 12.30PM Transfer you to Uganda, with short stop at Nyiragarama for Lunc. The 4-hour journey to Uganda will includes the border crossing. You will need an East African Visa that is obtainable from the first East African Country that you Visit (Kenya-Rwanda – Uganda are participants in the East African Visa Program). Along the way you shall have spectacular views of the terraces of the Ugandan and Rwandan mountains. This area is called the “Switzerland of Africa”. Arrive late in afternoon, enjoy self walk in nearby villages, dinner and overnight.

29th Sept, Day 2. Hike Muhabura Volcano
After breakfast meet your guide who will transfer you to the starting point at 7:00am, Mt Muhabura takes you about 8 hours to/from depending on your fitness and speed, Muhabura hike is also very adventurous for the people who love mountain climbing, it is worthy visiting while in AfricaMt muhabura climbing takes you through the amazing terrains and steep slopes as you pass the different types of magnificent vegetation. When you the top of Mt muhabura you find a Crater Lake and amazing views of different villages and towns in Rwanda, D.R.Congo and Kisoro in Uganda

30th Sept, Day 3. Mountain Gorilla Tracking- back to Kigali
This morning you will get up very early and drive to Bwindi or Mgahinga national park for the upcoming Gorillas trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorillas is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours, but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. stay with Gorillas 1 hour, then back at the lodge, take lunch, check out and transfer to Mbarara

1st Oct. Day 4 Safari At lake Mburo National Park
You will set off from ypur Hotel in Mbarara at 6:30am and head to Lake Mburo National Park. The drive takes 30min. You will Drive through the savannah grasslands dotted with settlements, plantations and several herds of local long horned Ankole cattle endemic to this part of the country. Game drive and Boat launch on Lake Mburo Immediately you get to Lake Mburo National Park you will go for a game drive in search of plain game like zebra, hippos, crocodiles, eland, antelope, impala and a variety of birds. You will have a lunch break after which you will go for a 2 hour boat launch on Lake Mburo which is endowed with a variety of water animals such as hippos and crocodiles and several bird species. Travel to Kampala with a short stop at the Equator line for photography. arrive late in the evening and transfer you at your Hotel in Entebbe.

What to Pack:
You must bring appropriate walking or hiking shoes as trainers are not suitable for the forest terrain. Waterproof clothing, preferably dark in color as bright colors will attract insects, is necessary since the forest is at high altitude so there is a good chance of rain. Remember to bring high-factor sunscreen and a hat too, most of all don’t forget your yellow fever vaccination card.
