Jerusalem Old City
Start with a sweeping view of the Old City from the Mount of Olives. Then visit the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed the night before he was crucified. Enter the Old City of Jerusalem and walk through the Four Quarters (Muslim, Christian, Jewish and Armenian) to view the major landmarks of 4000 years of dramatic history, including the Dome of the Rock, the Western Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Day 3

Qumran – Massada – Jericho
Drive to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Drive along the Dead Sea to visit the stronghold of Masada. This grand fortress that King Herod built was the scene of the last stand by the zealots fighting the Romans. Tiberias: Round the lake

Kibbutz Shaar Hagolan – Nazareth – Cana
Drive to Kibbutz Shaar Hagolan for an agricultural visit, later visit Nazareth to visit the Church of Annunciation, continue to Cana of the Galilee where Jesus performed his first public miracle, the turning of a large quantity of water into wine at a wedding feast. Departure – Taba

Day 7

Saint Catherine – Cairo
Early in the morning start the climb of Mount Sinai where the Ten Commandments were revealed. After such a wonderful mountain trip and a magnificent view, we start our journey descending. On this day, we visit sites in St. Catherine which is the place where Moses climbed up the mountain to receive the Ten Commandments. In the same area, there is the famous Greek Orthodox Monastery which is built around the Burning Bush and the well where Moses met his wife Zebura (daughter of Jethro, the priest of Median). We will also visit the place where the Israelites camped when Moses went to receive the Ten Commandments. Day 8

Cairo Sightseeing
We begin our touring today with some sights of ancient Egypt – some of which date back to 1000+ years prior to Abraham. Visit the impressive 3 Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure which are guarded by the rock-cut statue (The Sphinx) a large half-human, half-lion statue. The Great Pyramid of King Cheops is the only standing wonder from the ancient world, although it is 2,000 years older than any other wonder on the list. Visit to the Hanging Church – the most famous Coptic church in Cairo. The Hanging Church was named so as it was built by the Nile River over the Roman Gate of Babylon. During a walking tour, our guide will point out that this section of the old city was definitely the route taken by Abraham, Joseph, Moses and the family of Jesus – an inspiring thought. Day 9

Alexandria over day
Breakfast and then a day tour to the ancient seaport of Alexandria where we will see the Greco-Roman culture in Egypt. The second largest city in Egypt, Alexandria, known as “The Pearl of the Mediterranean”, has an atmosphere that is more Mediterranean than Middle Eastern; its ambience and cultural heritage distance it from the rest of the country. First stop is the Fort at Quit Bay which will be followed with a visit to the ancient Catacombs of Kom and Pompay’s Pillar.
