Following pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi, travel to Hell’s Gate National Park, approximately 2 to 2.5 hours drive from the city center. Sit back and relax on the journey as you take in the views of the plains and Lake Naivasha.
Learn about the remarkable plants and animals that thrive in the park, including over 130 species of birds. Upon arrival, get the opportunity to walk with the animals in their natural environment. Marvel at the towering red cliffs, deep gorges and basalt columns of the park on foot. Experience the thrill of seeing large, plant-eating animals while outside the vehicle. Encounter great herds of zebra thundering past baboons, buffalo, hartebeest and more.
Then, break for lunch at a nearby restaurant and taste the regional food of Kenya as you mingle with the local Maasai tribes in a casual setting. Continue to Elsamere Conservation Center at the edge of Lake Naivasha, and hear how the former home of Joy and George Adamson now supports a troop of black and white colobus monkeys that you can see playing in the acacia trees and peaceful gardens.
Journey back to Nairobi and get dropped off at your hotel at the end of the tour services.
