OVERVIEW;
As you step out of Jommo Kenyatta International Airport, your personal Scenery Adventures guide greets you with a big smile: ‘Karibu Kenya – welcome to Kenya!’ The guide will take you through a briefing about your Private safari and start your journey towards Lake Naivasha. The next day, your guide takes you on an exclusive, journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy the luxury of your private safari jeep and take the liberty to stop and watch the animals as long as you like. The following day your will proceed to the Great Maasai Mara National Reserve in search of the Big Five. After 2 nights you will drive to Nairobi where you can relax and take in the images of vibrant Nairobi. The following day, you will take another drive to Amboseli National Park for 2 nights appreciating the big elephants and a clear view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Welcome and enjoy your memorable safari.
Day 1: AIRPORT – LAKE NAIVASHA;
When exceeding the JKIA, you will be received by your Scenery Adventures Guide who will be in charge of your safari. He will take you to a clean and well serviced Safari Land Cruiser and give you a briefing of what is expected out of your adventure. Your moment of relaxing and enjoying your safari starts here. You will drive to Nairobi city for current exchange and proceed to Lake Naivasha, you will arrive noon time for Lunch, check in in your rooms and relax as you prepare to visit Crescent Island.
Crescent Island is surrounded by water, it is a peninsula and is currently only accessible by boat from the East or West side. The park has miles of walking trails and abundant wildlife that provides a 360-degree view of Mt. Longonot to Hell’s Gate to the Mau Escarpment to Eburu and onto the Aberdares, the view simply blows your mind away. The shores host abundant birdlife including pelicans, cormorants, and fish-eagles with their haunting cry. There are more animals per acre than in any other Kenyan Park, hence many film companies have been to the Island to film the herds of Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Zebra, and Gazelle. For bird lovers, bring along your binoculars as there is plenty of birdlife to watch while experiencing close wildlife encounters and a boat ride around Lake Naivasha.

Day 2: LAKE NAIVASHA – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK.
After having your breakfast, you will check out of the hotel by 10:00hrs and take a 2-hour drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge in time for Lunch, check in in your rooms relax as you prepare for your evening Game drive till dark. Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge.
Day 3: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE.
After having your early morning Breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and have an enroute game drive in the Park as you drive to Maasai Mara. You will arrive in Maasai Mara in time for Lunch, check in at the Camp and relax as you prepare for an evening game drive till dark. Dinner and Overnight at Zebra Plains Mara Camp.
Day 4: FULL DAY MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE.
Early morning balloon safari is available as an option at USD 450 per person. The Balloon launches at 0600hrs and takes one hour. On landing you will be welcomed with a champagne bush breakfast.
Full day game viewing whereby you leave the camp after breakfast with picnic lunch. The Mara is the land of African legend: Lion are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature’s few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of Bee-Eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of the Mara’s birds, occur in the reserve. As well as wildlife, the Maasai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park – Moran’s (warriors) loping across the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders grouped under a tree discussing matters of the day.
DAY 5: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI
This is the last day in Maasai Mara. After having your breakfast, you will check out of your rooms by 09:45hrs and board your Safari Land Cruiser for a journey to Nairobi City. On the way you will have a stopover at Narok town to browse in the bustling, vibrant Maasai markets to buy curios, handicrafts and also have Lunch. You will proceed to Nairobi appreciating the beautiful terrains and scenery on the way. On arrival in Nairobi, you can visit a nearby shopping mall before proceeding to the Hotel. Drop off at Nairobi Safari Club Hotel at 18:00hrs on Bed and Breakfast.
DAY 6: NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.
After having your breakfast, your guide will be at the hotel by 06:45hrs with a clean and well serviced Safari land cruiser for a journey south of Nairobi city to Amboseli National Park.
The park is well-known for being the best place in the world to get up close and personal with free-roaming elephants, as well as its location at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, just an hour’s flight from Nairobi. Apart from elephants, many plains animals are easily visible. There are fantastic photo opportunities, and early mornings are best for clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli to wetlands with Sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community, which lives around the park and experience their authentic culture.
You will arrive at the lodge in time for Lunch, check in in your rooms and relax as you prepare for an evening game drive till Dark. Dinner and Overnight at Amboseli Safari Lodge.
DAY 7: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE.
At 06:00hrs you can have a very early morning game drive before having your breakfast, if the weather allows you will experience hunting of wild cats, sunrise while in the bush and have a clear view of Mount Kilimanjaro during the sun rise. A good time to take memorable photos.
You will drive back to the hotel for Breakfast by 08:00hrs and you will embark on your full day game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
DAY 8: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – NAIROBI AIRPORT.
Sadly, this is your last day of your Safari. This day you will have breakfast at the lodge, and prepare to check out by 09:00hrs. You will drive back to Nairobi where you will have a stopover on the way to have lunch before proceeding to Nairobi. Drop off at JKIA for your Flight home.
