Itinerary

As you step out of Moi International Airport, your personal Scenery Adventures guide welcomes you with a warm smile: “Karibu Kenya – Welcome to Kenya!” From the airport, you’re transferred comfortably to your hotel while soaking in the first sights and sounds of the vibrant city of Mombasa. 🏝️ The next day, your adventure truly begins with an exclusive private safari designed for your pace and comfort. With your own luxury safari jeep, you have the freedom to stop whenever you wish, watching elephants, lions, giraffes, and mor e in their natural habitat for as long as you like. Overnight in a hotel in Mombasa.

After having your breakfast, our Scenery Adventures driver will be at the hotel by 06:30hours for drive to Taita Hills Sanctuary. The Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is a smaller park between giants Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Park. The 110-square-kilometre sanctuary of Taita Hills belongs to the oldest mountain ranges of Africa, boasting many endemic bird species, such as the Taita thrush, and larger wildlife such as bush elephants, leopards, buffaloes, cheetahs and lions. After a 4-hour drive, you will enter the park and have an enroute game drive as you go the hotel for check in, have lunch and rest. You will leave for an evening game drive and get back to the hotel for Dinner and overnight.

After having you breakfast, you will check out and drive to Tsavo West National Park. It is a full of stars you want to get in front of your lens. From the Big Five to the big stars of the flora and fauna – you’ll meet them all when discovering the national park itself and the unique Mzima Springs. You will have an enroute game drive as you head to the hotel for Check in, have lunch and rest. You will have an evening game driver, dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Today you will check out and drive to Amboseli national park. You will not only marvel at Amboseli’s highlights from up close (we only say supertuskers, lions, and lava rocks), but also from above: Observation Hill spoils you with a 360-degree view which is truly unique in this world. Amboseli National Park gives good view of Mount Kilimanjaro with the back ground of elephants. Upon arrival at the gate, you will have an enroute game drive as you head to the hotel for check in, lunch and rest. You will proceed on an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Your will have breakfast at the lodge, check out and take a drive to Tsavo east National Park. With over 13,000 square kilometres, Tsavo East National Park is huge and impressive, and, since it was founded in 1948, one of Kenya's oldest national parks. Cruise the outstretched savannah of the Yatta Plateau with its large groups of elephants and get to see an amazing amount of animals; four of the Big Five (minus rhinos) together with species like dik-diks, zebras, giraffes, yellow baboons, cheetahs, African wild dogs, elands, gazelles, gerenuks, hyenas, jackals, and over 500 species of birds. You will drive to the camp for check in, lunch and rest. This day you will have an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the camp. The following day you will have full day game drive, break fast, lunch, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

This will be your last day of your wild safari. It’s time to hit the road. Either take a nap or stay glued to the window, watching the magnificent Kenyan landscape pass by. Once on the beach, you either stay in Diani Beach or cross the water to explore the astonishing Chale Island. Upon arrival at the hotel, you will have lunch, relax at the beach, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Diani Beach is perfect for beach holidays - think the most outstretched and white beaches, a blue Indian Ocean and plenty of resorts and restaurants to choose from. Always dreamed of tropical islands? Then take it up a notch and stay on Chale - a tropical island just off the coast, with an amazing design hotel to pamper to all your needs.

This is your last day! Unfortunately, our driver will have to take you to Mombasa to catch your flight home from Moi International Airport. Sad to leave...? Then don't worry! We can still add a few more days on those beautiful beaches or even add a few exciting safari days to your holiday!

Many people travelling to the African continent have questions about safety. Is Kenya safe to travel to? Our answer is clear: YES! Kenya is definitely a safe country to visit, especially for people going on organised game drives with private guides as you will do with us. There are definitely some places to avoid in big cities like Nairobi or Mombasa, but – as with all big cities – by taking some precautions, you’ll be fine. We advise, for example, to leave the hotel at night with a driver and not to go strolling around alone. Also be aware not to wear big and visible jewellery, and keep an eye on your valuables.

This is an exclusive, private safari that allows you to travel at your own pace. This trip is made just for you, exactly as you want it! Our experienced travel consultants will make sure that your wishes come true. There are numerous advantages to such a trip. First, you can cruise around in a private safari vehicle and have a personal guide. It’s completely up to you what time you leave in the morning and when you come back (taking into account your guide’s advice, of course). Secondly, once you’re in a national park, you can observe specific animals or herds for as long as you like. No one will push you to move along. And lastly, knowing your wishes, your personal guide will give you the right tips, turning your trip into an unforgettable experience.

At Scenery Adventures, we’re all about co-creating your perfect journey. When you plan your African adventures with us, you’re not just booking a trip; you’re embarking on a personalised experience. We start by understanding your wishes and preferences, and we won’t stop until every aspect of your journey aligns perfectly with your vision. Our team works closely with you to ensure that your entire trip is tailor-made to your satisfaction. And for added convenience, we offer a selection of our most popular African tours and safaris as a starting point for your consideration.

Absolutely, Kenya is also home to all of the Big Five and many, many more animals. In short: wildlife galore! These magnificent creatures—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo — can be observed in their natural habitats, making Kenya a preferred choice for wildlife enthusiasts.
