This 7-day safari takes you on an unforgettable journey through Tanzania’s most iconic parks. Begin in Arusha, the gateway to the northern circuit, before heading to Tarangire National Park, home to giant baobabs and vast elephant herds. Continue to the legendary Serengeti National Park, where endless plains host the Big Five and, seasonally, the dramatic Great Migration. Your adventure then leads to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll explore the historic Olduvai Gorge and descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wildlife haven often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Blending stunning landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and extraordinary wildlife encounters, this safari offers the perfect balance of adventure, discovery, and relaxation.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be welcomed by our professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax, adjust to the African atmosphere, and prepare for the safari ahead. Accommodation: Arusha – Bed & Breakfast
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees, vast elephant herds, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive across the park’s rolling savannahs and riverine woodlands. A picnic lunch will be served en route, and you’ll arrive at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay inside or near the park. Accommodation: Tarangire – Full Board
Enjoy breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Along the way, take in the changing landscapes and wildlife sightings. Upon entering the Serengeti, enjoy your first game drive across its endless plains, home to lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and, depending on the season, the Great Migration. Arrive at your lodge in the evening. Accommodation: Serengeti – Full Board
Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. Begin with an early morning game drive, when predators are most active. Continue throughout the day with picnic lunch in the wild, following herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes, and seeking out the Big Five. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Serengeti – Full Board
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive en route out of the Serengeti. Stop at the historic Olduvai Gorge, often called the “Cradle of Mankind,” where some of the earliest human fossils were discovered. Visit the small museum and enjoy a short tour before continuing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim or nearby for relaxation and dinner. Accommodation: Near Ngorongoro – Full Board
After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often described as the Eighth Wonder of the World. The crater floor is home to one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before continuing your game drive. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: At Ngorongoro – Full Board
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast with a final view of the Ngorongoro highlands. Afterwards, drive back to Arusha with a picnic lunch en route. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward journey.
This safari can be enjoyed year-round. From June to October, you can witness the Great Migration in Serengeti, when millions of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains. This is also the dry season, making wildlife viewing easier as animals gather around water sources. From November to May, the parks are lush and green, perfect for birdwatchers and photographers, with many animals giving birth. Tarangire is best visited in the dry months (June–October) when elephants and other wildlife gather along the Tarangire River.
Yes. Most travelers require a tourist visa to enter Tanzania. You can apply online through the official Tanzania eVisa system or get it upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). A tourist visa usually allows a stay of up to 90 days. Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates and has at least two blank pages. We also recommend checking if you need a yellow fever vaccination certificate, depending on your country of origin or transit.
