7 Days Egypt & Jordan Discovery – 2nd – 8th April

After breakfast, meet your Egyptologist guide for a full-day tour of Cairo’s ancient treasures. Visit the Giza Plateau to marvel at the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, and the Great Sphinx. Optional entry inside the Great Pyramid is available. After lunch at a local restaurant, explore the Egyptian Museum, home to over 120,000 artifacts including the golden mask of Tutankhamun. Return to your hotel for overnight in Cairo.

After breakfast, explore Old Cairo, visiting the Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue, followed by the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali for breathtaking city views. After lunch, transfer to Cairo Airport for your evening flight to Hurghada (approximately 1 hour). On arrival, check into your Red Sea resort for dinner and overnight in Hurghada.

Enjoy breakfast at your resort, then spend the day at leisure. Relax on the beach or take part in optional activities like snorkeling or diving at the Giftun Islands, or a desert safari by quad bike or camel. In the evening, you can stroll along the Hurghada Marina, filled with cafés, shops, and live music. Overnight in Hurghada.

We’ll meet at 4 p.m. at our hotel in Luzern (Lucerne) for a “Welcome to Switzerland” meeting. Then we’ll take a meandering evening walk through Switzerland’s most charming lakeside town, and get acquainted with one another over dinner together. Sleep in Luzern (2 nights). No bus. Walking: light.Another full day to relax and enjoy the Red Sea. Go on a glass-bottom boat tour, visit the Hurghada Aquarium, or simply unwind by the pool. Optional excursion: full-day boat trip with lunch and snorkeling at Orange Bay. Overnight in Hurghada.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Hurghada International Airport for your international departure or domestic flight back to Cairo for onward travel.
