8 – Days Kenya Wild Safari & Diani Beach Holiday Tour

After an early breakfast, depart Naivasha at 07:00hrs and begin your scenic drive southwest toward the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Pass through the vibrant Maasai town of Narok before entering the expansive golden plains of the Mara. Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch. Check in and enjoy some time to rest before your first exciting afternoon game drive in the reserve. Explore the iconic savannah as lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and numerous other wildlife roam freely across the sweeping plains. Return to your camp/lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Early morning balloon safari is available as an option at USD 450 per person. The Balloon launches at 0600hrs and takes one hour. On landing you will be welcomed with a champagne bush breakfast. Full day game viewing whereby you leave the camp after breakfast with picnic lunch. The Mara is the land of African legend: Lion are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature’s few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of Bee-Eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of the Mara’s birds, occur in the reserve. As well as wildlife, the Maasai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park – Morans (warriors) loping across the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders grouped under a tree discussing matters of the day. Dinner and overnight at the camp/Lodge.

Your day begins early with a 07:00hrs departure from Maasai Mara. After breakfast, you will check out and start your journey back to Nairobi. Along the way, you will enjoy a scenic drive with a stopover in Narok Town, where you can browse the vibrant Maasai markets and have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will proceed with the drive to Nairobi, ensuring timely arrival for your train connection. Upon reaching the city, you will be transferred to the SGR Train Station to board the 15:00hrs train to Mombasa. You will arrive in Mombasa at approximately 20:00hrs, where a Scenery Adventures representative will warmly receive you and transfer you to Diani Beach. Enjoy the tranquil coastal drive as you head to your beach resort for overnight.

After having your breakfast, your Scenery Adventures Driver will be at the reception to drive you to the margical city of Mombasa for the tour. You will be visiting fort jesus, old town, spice market, Hindus temple, Pembe za ndovu, Uhuru gardens, Mama ngina waterfront and Haller park. You will have a lunch Break (Lunch at your own coast), this will give a great opportunity to enjoy the Swahili food at the coastal kenya. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

After your breakfast at the resort, your driver will pick you for a full-day excursion to the magical Wasini Island. The day will involve a traditional dhow or boat trip across the Indian Ocean, with opportunities to spot dolphins along the Shimoni waters. You will enjoy snorkeling at Kisite Marine Park, swimming, and exploring the crystal-clear ocean environment. A delicious seafood lunch will be served on Wasini Island, coupled with cultural insights and relaxed coastal ambience. After the excursion, you will return to your Diani resort for dinner and overnight.

This day is dedicated to relaxation and leisure at the pristine shores of Diani. You may choose to spend your day sunbathing, swimming, walking along the white sandy beach, or enjoying the resort’s amenities. You can also book optional water-sport activities such as jet skiing, skydiving, kite surfing, or camel rides along the beach. All meals and selected drinks will be served under your All-Inclusive plan, allowing you to fully unwind and enjoy your holiday.

After breakfast, you will check out of the resort by 10:00hrs. You will then be transferred to the SGR train station for your afternoon train back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport for your onward international flight, marking the end of your memorable beach holiday tour.
